No, this is not an unban appeal on my behalf.
This is an appear to all those looking to submit an unban appeal for themselves.
No. Your brother, sister, cousin, friend, mother, daughter, hamster, grandmother or whatever did not break the rules. You did. Looking at previous unban requests, about 8/10 mention that it was their <insert other person> who broke the rules. If find it highly dubious that almost 80% of offenders did not actually break the rules. In reality what seems more likely is that this is an excuse.
Ultimately, you are responsible for your own Minecraft account. If you let your less-than-reputable friend on your account, and they get it banned, then tough titties; you shouldn't have let them on it the first place. The game is $27/€22/£17. It is not going to break their bank; and then it's their account which gets banned, not yours.

Actually i doubt any of our fellow admins really believes those excuses.
We mostly look at the damage that has been done and the amout of time the player was banned.
i.e.
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2238the player griefed a max of 50-70 block grief ( minor grief )
and was banned for 3 months.
he really showed how much he wanted to return to the server. (ingame chat)
Therefor there is more to an unban than the excuse.

I unban people who demonstrate that they want to join the server and that they're sorry for what they did. That's when I put my input.
